Recognize Iran's threat to the world: Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has called on the United States and its allies to "wake up" to the threat posed by Iran. He made the remarks at a time when talks are under way to re-implement the nuclear deal with Iran.

Newly-elected Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has said that Iran's "government of assassins" wants to build a nuclear weapon, while Iran insists its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.

Diplomats say progress is being made on re-implementing the nuclear deal with Iran, but some issues remain to be agreed. Remember that under President Trump, the United States withdrew from this agreement.

Israel has always opposed the agreement. Earlier, a spokesman for the Israeli Foreign Ministry said that the international community should be deeply concerned about the election of new Iranian President Ibrahim Raeisi.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Lear Hayat said Ibrahim Raisi was Iran's most radical president ever. He warned that the new leaders would promote Iran's nuclear activities.

On Saturday, Ibrahim Raisi was declared the winner of Iran's presidential election, saying the race was designed to give him the upper hand.

A nuclear deal was struck between Iran and the West in 2015, after which tough sanctions on Iran were lifted. However, former US President Donald Trump pulled the United States out of the deal in 2018, saying Iran was deliberately violating the agreement and once again imposed economic sanctions on Iran.

The administration of new US President Joe Biden is now looking for a way to rejoin the agreement.

Iran also stepped up its nuclear program after sanctions were tightened. Iran is currently enriching uranium at the highest level. However, Iran has not yet acquired the capability to build a nuclear bomb.

Iran insists its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, but Israel believes Iran's nuclear program is not entirely for peaceful purposes and is aimed at developing nuclear weapons.

The situation between the two countries is extremely complex, but a major source of tension is Iran's nuclear program.

Iran blames Israel for killing its nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizada and attacking its uranium enrichment plant in April.

Negotiations to save Iran's nuclear deal are under way in Vienna on the day Raisi became Iran's president.
